We all know that the internet is slow, but that doesn’t mean that Netflix is any slower than a Raspberry PI.
That’s because you can stream Netflix videos on a Pi using a RaspberryPi.
To get started, head over to this guide and download and install the latest Raspbian image.
Once you’ve downloaded the image, you can follow the steps to get the Raspberry Pi working as a streaming media server.
For example, to get a Pi to play Netflix videos, you could do this: open up the Netflix app on your Pi, and go to the Netflix website, click on the little box next to “Watch now” and then click “Start streaming.”
Once the RaspberryPi starts streaming, you’ll see a notification on your screen.
Click “OK” to confirm that you want to continue.
You’ll see that you’re connected to a Pi.
Now, head back to your Pi and plug the Ethernet cable into your TV, then connect your Raspberry Pi to the Pi via Ethernet.
Now you should be able to stream all of Netflix’s movies from the Raspberry pi to the TV.
For instance, let’s say that you have a Raspberry pi running Ubuntu Linux and a Pi-powered Amazon Fire TV remote.
Then, you want the Pi to connect to the Amazon FireTV remote and start streaming Netflix.
You can do this by plugging the Raspberry-powered remote into the Amazon fire TV remote and plugging your Raspberry-Pi into the HDMI port of the Amazon-powered Fire TV.
Now that the Roku and Chromecast are connected to the HDMI ports of the Roku, you’re ready to stream.
Once your Pi is streaming, simply click on “Play Now” and follow the on-screen instructions.
After you’re done with the Netflix streaming, just reboot your RaspberryPi and you’ll be able access your Netflix streaming with ease.
To see a list of all of the supported devices, head to the Raspberry PI wiki.
Now if you’d like to make your own custom Roku or Chromecast device, head on over to the Plex Wiki and create your own Kodi box.
The Plex wiki is a great place to get help on how to set up your Raspberry PI as a media server, and it’s a great resource for beginners.
Just head over there and start editing the Plex.tv Wiki page to get started.
In addition to using a Pi as a Kodi media server to play movies and TV shows, you might also want to consider the Raspberry RPi as a NAS device.
The Raspberry Pi comes with a number of ports that allow you to connect multiple computers, like a Raspberry-PC or a Raspberry PC.
You could even install an NAS on your Raspberry RPis, so you could access your devices from your local network.
In order to do this, head into the Plex wiki and start setting up your Plex server.
You should be good to go and you can start Plex.
We’ve already covered how to setup a Plex server on a Raspi Pi, so we won’t go over that again.
The best part about Plex is that it’s very simple to use, which is why we recommend getting it on your Rasp Pi, instead of an external device like an NAS.
If you don’t already have a Plex account, head here to sign up.
If all else fails, you may want to look into the free Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast, Apple TV, and more.
Plex is free for Plex users.
