The Nintendo Switch is a massive step forward for gaming, and while it might not be the next console to take over the world, it certainly offers the best of the best.
That’s what we’re hoping for with our year-end review of the new Nintendo console.
We’ll be reviewing each system in its own way, but this is what we think you’ll want to know about it as you decide what to buy.
In our review, we took the opportunity to review each system individually to make sure you’re getting the best gaming experience possible.
The system we’re focusing on today is the Nintendo Switch, and the system we’ll be looking at is the Switch XL.
First up is the system’s specs.
The Switch is currently the only system with a 16GB memory capacity, but there’s a little extra room in the system to expand.
The Nintendo system has a base price of $249.99, but if you can snag it for $279.99 at the time of this writing, you’ll save $10.
This is one of the Switch’s most notable selling points.
The device has a battery life of 20 hours on a single charge, but that’s not all the Switch has to offer.
The System-On-Chip (SoC) that powers the Switch also powers a battery that lasts up to four days, making the Switch even more of a powerhouse than it already is.
The Switch also boasts a new design that’s designed to give the device a more ergonomic feel.
It’s made up of a series of rectangular fins that give the Switch its unique, triangular shape, which has been made even more comfortable thanks to a rubberized back.
The rubber back is designed to provide a smoother grip, as well as prevent the Switch from tipping over during games.
The edges of the rubber back also help keep the Switch upright when not in use, but the Nintendo system also has a dedicated touchpad that makes it easier to reach buttons and trackpad controls.
The touchpad is also built into the system, allowing you to access all of the gamepad functions, and even adjust the brightness of the Joy-Con controllers.
While you can’t buy the Switch with a system-on-chip (SoCs) upgrade, the Switch is compatible with a variety of different SoCs that will be shipping in December.
